Privacy policy

World of Anterra Guide is a static site. It has no accounts, no comments and no newsletter, and it does not ask you for any personal information.

That said, two things do run when you open a page: anonymous analytics, and third-party advertising. This page explains both, because a guide site should be as clear about its own plumbing as it is about a game's.

What the site itself stores

Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies of our own, no local storage of your reading history, and no login.

The site is served as static files from Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver pages. Cloudflare keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention under its own policy.

Analytics

Pages load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QHD0VFMKGV) to count page views and see which guides are read.

  • The tag sets cookies that distinguish sessions; it does not collect names, emails or account data.
  • Reports are aggregate: page, country, device type, referrer.
  • Google's own policy governs the data once it is collected.

If you want to opt out, a browser content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on will stop the tag loading, and the site works exactly the same without it.

Advertising

This site carries third-party advertising through Adsterra, which fills two placements: a native banner on desktop and a 320×50 banner on phones.

What that means in practice:

  • The ad code is served by Adsterra's network, not by this site.
  • Adsterra and its demand partners may set their own cookies or device identifiers to measure and target advertising.
  • On phones the banner loads inside a sandboxed 320×50 iframe, so the ad cannot restyle or read the page around it.
  • On desktop the native banner is injected by a script after the page loads and removes itself if no ad fills.
  • Ads are loaded only when the placement is on screen; a content blocker prevents them entirely.

This site does not receive or store any personal data from those ads. It sees aggregate counts: impressions, clicks, and estimated revenue.

Children

The site is written for players old enough to buy games, and it does not knowingly collect information from children. There is nothing to sign up for.

Your choices

  • Block everything: a content blocker stops analytics and ads; the guides still read fine.
  • Block ads only: most blockers allow per-site rules, so analytics can stay on while ads are blocked.
  • Ask a question: write to the address on the contact page if you want to know how a specific piece of data is handled.

Changes

If the advertising setup or analytics changes, this page is updated in the same commit as the change, and the check date at the foot of the page moves with it.
